About Tech EDVolution
Evolving Technology to Support Learning and Operations
Who we are
Tech EDVolution (TEDV) was founded to close a growing gap in education. School technology teams are asked to run operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, budgets and strategy at the same time, usually with little executive support. Long-term planning and governance are what slip. It isn’t always a capability problem. More often, it’s a capacity problem.
We add executive technology leadership where schools and education organizations need it most: strategy, governance, risk and board-level support, sized to the organization and its budget. We don’t do technical maintenance and we don’t sell products. We help leaders see where they stand and plan where they’re going.
What we believe
Staying compliant and maintaining a healthy technology baseline takes experienced executive support: the kind that keeps a school’s technology on track with its vision and goals.
TEDV provides that support, so school leaders can focus on what matters most: their students.
Our team
Leadership that has run district technology from the inside.

Dr. Monika Davis, Ed.D.
Founder & Principal Consultant
Dr. Monika Davis has spent more than 30 years in K-12 education technology. As Chief Information Officer of DeKalb County School District, Georgia’s third-largest, she led technology for 115,000+ users and a team of 170+, with 5+ years leading district technology, including interim terms.
She founded Tech EDVolution to give schools the executive technology leadership they need without the cost of a full-time hire. Her focus is the leadership side of technology: governance, risk, AI strategy and plans that boards can act on.
